  Black History Awareness Drive Established February 2007

 Six Duece Ribbon Campaign

During the month of February, SDE sells black and red ribbon committments. By purchasing a ribbon ($0.25), a patron is committing to do two things:1.     Black: learn and tell someone about an African American person, event, or era that was previously unknown before the committment.2.   Red: learn about your family hertiage and its origin.SDE has sold hundreds of ribbons.

Each year we have doubled the number of Ribbon Commitments. Thank you all who have supported. I am looking forward to March 2009.
