All the members of Six Duece Enterprises and Six Duece Records held a free Car Wash (donations accepted) in the parking lot of Rooster’s Wings at 7106 Biddulph Road in Brooklyn, Ohio 44144. 100% of the donations received went to the 2008 “Achieveland” Scholarship.
The Men of SDE also had a great deal of help from the children of Images and the Playhouse program located at 8301 Detroit Road in Cleveland, Ohio. The Car Wash-a-Thon started at
11:00am May 24, 2008 and continued non-stop until about 4:00pm. All cars, trucks, and motorcycles were hand washed, rinsed, and received tire treatment. At times the lines were long, but because of SDE’s efficient “get em in & get em out” system, patrons were pleased to get a high quality wash performed in minutes.
The Rooster’s staff and crew also played an integral role in the success of this fundraiser, as they made sure that the hard working members of SDE and their volunteers had plenty of water, food, soda and supplemental supplies. After the Car Wash-a-Thon concluded, the kids from Images and Playhouse were treated to a Wing Buffet courtesy of Rooster’s Wings.
Thank you to all those that supported the Achieveland Car Wash a Thon and the Achieveland Scholarship Fund! SDE washed over 200 cars and raised a substantial amount of money towards “Achieveland” 2008.
to the guy that goes by the name Mr. Russell i disagree with u being the greatest car washer...i did everything from pre rinse to rinse to washing to drying to refills...holla
